“Don’t play with your food!”
Luckily, this young Chinese woman, who arrived in Paris in 2000, didn’t listen to her mother’s advice when she was little.  From the luxurious and refined aesthetic of French haute cuisine to the bright, modern colours of contemporary junkfood, Xi has always felt that it was a shame to leave such beauty on her plate. So in 2009 she created MIAM, a tiny workshop in the heart of Paris where her little delectable creations are predominantly made by hand from a polymere base.  Bringing new meaning to the term “eye candy”.
